- Arrival - hang up jackets and backpacks, read a book
- Welcome Circle - songs, motor movements, calender, weather report, review the daily picture schedule, work on pre-reading and pre-math such as the alphabet and counting, storytime
- Breakfast/Lunch - mealtime to work on language skills as well as good nutrition
- Center Time/Table Work/Art Projects - play in blocks, dramatic play, writing center, sand/water table; work with small groups on various tasks
- Closing Circle - Review of the day's events, songs, motor movement, story time
- Backpacks and Gross Motor Play - prepare backpacks for going home, play on the playground or in the cafeteria
