The resource program provides instructional support to students in the general education curriculum in the areas of reading, written language, mathematics or other identified areas of weakness. Students in this program may work in small groups with the special education staff or they may receive additional help within their general education classroom. Students are taught strategies for test taking, studying and completing academic course work. Most students receiving resource room help have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) which is reviewed by a team including the student’s parents or guardians on an annual basis.

Work done in the Resource Room is shared with the student's classroom teacher for grading purposes.
Progress reports are sent home on a quarterly basis addressing a student's progress on IEP goals and objectives.
