On Monday, February 13, 2017, CTA Architects and Engineers will present preliminary designs for the new Heartland High School alternative school facility. The new building will replace 2 trailers which were purchased by the school district in 1991. It features an energy efficient design of approximately 5,500 square feet. The new concept was designed in collaboration with students and staff and is intended to significantly reduce energy consumption. The public meeting will begin at 5:00 with a presentation by CTA. An opportunity for public comment will follow. All are welcome to attend the meeting, located at the Douglas MacNichol Building on the corner of Stibnite and Mission Streets.
