What is Child Find?
Child Find is an ongoing initiative involving public awareness efforts, screening, and assessment, aimed at discovering, identifying, and offering assistance to every student with disabilities.
Who is Eligible for Child Find?
If you live in the district’s attendance zone, your child (3-5 years of age) may qualify for a free preschool program in the Early Childhood Special Education Program.

Early Childhood Developmental Screenings
Screenings Available for 3 to 5 year olds
Children who demonstrate developmental delays in one or more of the developmental areas may be eligible for special education services. The early childhood developmental screening is designed for children who do not turn five (5) by September 1, of current school year.

The early childhood developmental screening process is ongoing. Specific dates can be found HERE.
Once the screening appointment is scheduled, you will receive an email from our ECSE Preschool Teacher providing you with additional information including the date, time, location, what to bring to the event, and what to expect including any follow up actions.
