MDHS Student Orientation is Monday, August 26 in the MDHS Commons at the following times:
Seniors: 8:00-9:00 am
Juniors: 9:00-10:00 am
Sophomores: 10:00-11:00 am
Freshman: 11:00am-12:00noon
At orientation, students will receive a hallway locker, get their school picture taken, and receive their ID/ASB card after taking their fall photo. Make-up photos will be taken in October.
Student schedules will be visible in their PowerSchool accounts on or before Orientation Day. We recommend all students use the smartphone PowerSchool App to view schedule/schedule changes once they are published.

The Master Schedule and more information about the Counselors are available on the MDHS Counseling website.
To make schedule changes, please reference the Master Schedule then e-mail your counselor with your proposed change request. Schedule changes are not final until the change is visible in your student’s PowerSchool account. Schedule change requests are not guaranteed.
2024-2025 Student Fees
Yearbook: $65
ASB Card (required to participate in athletics): $30
Family Pass (entry for immediately family who are members of student’s household to home athletic competitions for 24-25): $100
Parking Pass (one per student driver): $2
In order to expedite the process and eliminate time standing in lines, we encourage you to pay your 24-25 fees online. You can pre-pay your student’s fees online at the MDHS MySchoolBucks site after August 1. If you are not able to pay your students fees online, you can pay on Orientation Day using cash or check. We appreciate your patience as this is not a short process. Please be prepared to wait in line unless you have paid online! ASB/ID Card and Back-to-School Pictures
Picture ordering informational packets will be available in the MPR during photos on August 26. Proofs will be sent to MDHS in late September where your student can pick them up.
